Andrew Scheil is an associate attorney at Wanzer Edwards, P.C., where he focuses his practice in the areas of family law and estate planning. Mr. Scheil earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University, majoring in economics with specialties in philosophy and political science. Mr. Scheil went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where he participated in Moot Court and was a member of the Health Law Society and Phi Delta Phi honor society.
Prior to joining Wanzer Edwards, Mr. Scheil litigated cases in state and federal courts on behalf of the State of Indiana and the City of Indianapolis. In addition, Mr. Scheil has significant experience negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts. He is licensed to practice in all Indiana Courts and is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Mr. Scheil brings his calm and compassionate style to cases and strives to reach positive outcomes for families.
Mr. Scheil has a passion for serving others and fulfills that passion by volunteering. He regularly volunteers with the Second Presbyterian Church youth group and has served on the church’s Board of Deacons. In his spare time, Mr. Scheil enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing golf, and cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers.
